A “very early release of Pardus Corporate 2″ (a.k.a. Pardus 2008) has been successful (means GREEN) in all the tests it had been through during the Combined Endeavor 2009, which is the world’s largest communication interoperability exercise. Among the tests were standard http, ftp and smtp connections, their secure siblings, VPN formation, PKI-based authentication and such. One important observation is that, at Banja Luca, Turkey was the only country participating these interoperability tests with a Linux-based set-up.
We thank the Turkish Army for inviting us to the exercise and providing support throughout, and looking forward to meet our heroes (a.k.a. Ekin and Bahadır) soon.

“Pardus Kurumsal’ın hayli erken bir ön sürümü” (yani Pardus 2008) Combined Endeavor 2009 tatbikatında geçtiği tüm testlerde başarılı oldu (YEŞİL aldı). Combined Endeavor dünyanın en büyük iletişimde birlikte çalışabilirlik tatbikatıdır. Pardus’un girdiği testler arasında standart http, ftp ve smtp bağlantıları, bunların güvenli halleri, VPN oluşturma, PKI-temelli yetkilendirme de bulunuyordu. Önemli bir izlenim Banja Luca’daki birlikte çalışabilirlik testlerine Linux temelli bir sistem ile katılan tek ülkenin Türkiye olması idi.
Bizi tatbikata davet eden ve öncesi ve sırasında her türlü desteği sağlayan Kara Kuvvetleri Komutanlığı’na teşekkür ederiz. Şimdi eve dönen kahramanlarımızı (yani Ekin ve Bahadır) bekliyoruz…
